The directors wish to appoint the following 2 posts to commence as soon as possible:
Learning Support Assistant (permanent)
37 hours per week term time only £22,369 – £23,194 FTE
(Actual salary of £18,907 – £19,604 less than 5 years’ continuous service and £19,323 – £20,036 more than 5 years’ continuous service) 38 wks + 5 inset (195 days)
This is a varied role, which involves supporting pupils in individual special educational needs, both in class and on a one-to-one basis. This involves: working as a mentor and working in small groups; providing administrative support to the SENDCo, including the development of support plans, writing of reports and coordination work with other professionals. You should have previous experience in a similar role, be a team player and be keen to make a difference to the lives of our pupils. You should have high levels of literacy.
